UPDATE FEB. 2021 - The Desert Inn has been closed since June 2018, which turned out to be a good thing because on December 22, 2020 just after 3 a.m. a semi with a load of orange juice plowed front and center into the building. The damage was extensive, but when the tow truck came to pull out the semi, the rest of the building collapsed.
